Hi, I'm Mrs. Crank. This is my 14th year teaching at Sweet Springs R-7. I taught 4th grade for 6 years and 2nd grade for 5 years. Now I'm back in 4th Grade for a 3rd year.

I grew up on the family farm in Malta Bend with my dad, mom and two older brothers. My dad is a farmer and my mom is a retired teacher with  29 years in education. I have two sisters-in-law, two beautiful nieces and a nephew (my students will probably hear lots about them). I played softball and basketball while in junior high and high school and still love sports today. On October 9, 2010 I got married. My husband and I had our first child on September 1st, 2012. We welcomed our 2nd child to our family on November 2, 2017.

I went to college at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri, where I got my degree in elementary education and early childhood. After graduation in December 2007, I had the opportunity to complete a graduate internship in Europe. I lived and worked on a United States Military Base in Grafenwoehr, Germany, for four months. During this internship I was an assistant in a pre-school classroom. While in Germany, I took the opportunity to travel when time allowed. I was able to visit France, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, as well as, many places in Germany.  

I graduated with a Masters in Literacy Education through the University of Central Missouri in May 2013.
