FACS students had fun with the spring cupcake wars! All groups did a fantastic job! Here are the results of their hard work. The vote was difficult and ended in a very close race, but the Rate Maze theme won first place!

This week the Ag department has been celebrating National FFA week! Today was Tractor day. The elementary students enjoyed a tractor parade. Several FFA members brought a tractor to school and read tractor related books to lower grade levels.

Students in all FACS classes participated in the spring semester cupcake wars! Each group came up with their own theme, created a display, and decorated the cupcakes. Stay tuned to see the results!

Weekly Events

In FACS class, students enjoyed learning and practicing some life skills. They all said they had opened presents, but not all had wrapped presents. A few were also able to help with laundry (others will soon get their turn).







Drawing and painting class has been working hard on their movie scene paintings.





Last night the Sweet Springs Junior High Girls Basketball Team was recognized for their undefeated season.
This team went 18-0 and won the I-70 Conference Tournament as well as the Crest Ridge Tournament. They also defeated every conference school in regular season play along with wins over Marshall, Higginsville, Pilot Grove, La Monte and Northwest.
The girls were coached by Sadie Kumm and the following players were on the team:
