8th grade students took advantage of some nice weather and cooperatively illustrated a class story in Spanish class, adding as many details as they could for each sentence in one minute.

Spectator Parking – All spectators are expected to park in the parking lot between our High School and Elementary. Parking is also allowed in MS Parking Lot and along 31st Street. Parking on 34th Street is not allowed, as this is used for Bus Drop-off and Pick-up.

FFA State Convention happenings last week!
Congratulations to the Sweet Springs FFA Chapters 2025 State FFA Degree recipients:

Blake Livengood was recognized for being the Area Winner in Agricultural Services Proficiency Award.
Tyler Fenner was the State Winner in the Diversified Grain Production Placement Proficiency Award.

Sweet Springs FFA members were on the stage for the 97th State FFA Convention this afternoon. The Parliamentary Procedure Team (Abby Rhea, Abby Hudson, Drayton Hampton, Jacob Rapp, Madison Arnold, Hannah Griggs, and McKynleigh Perkins) placed 3RD IN THE STATE and Alyssa Bargfrede performed during FFA Talent. Congratulations to these members and their advisors, Mr. Niemeyer and Mrs. Fenner, for a job well done! Way to represent!

I-70 Conference Tournament Brackets for softball & baseball scheduled for week of April 28th in Concordia.



The Human biology class attended a field trip to St. Louis University Anatomy and surgical education building for a cadaver demonstration and a sheep brain dissection.











On Wednesday, April 16th, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Bus Inspection Program conducted their annual bus inspections at SSR7. All eight buses in our district fleet passed inspection with zero defects being noted. Special thanks to our maintenance and transportation departments for their diligient efforts to ensure our buses are safe and maintained appropriately to transport students.
