8th grade students in Mrs. Steinkuhler’s English class just finished reading The Outsiders. This activity consisted of them sorting evidence to decide whether Johnny Cade was guilty or innocent. Students then argued their case and had the jury(their classmates) decide the case.
Students in Mrs. Steinkuhler’s 9th grade English class did “The Most Dangerous Game” challenge after reading the short story. Students had to work together and communicate to be successful.

A special thank you to Lewis Bybee and Steve Bargfrede, Veterans representing the 40 and 8 Patriotic Organization, for speaking with our first grade students today about our American Flag. Students learned about what our flag stands for, how to take care of our flag, and how to fold the flag. Each student was presented with a flag and information to take home to their families. Thank you for your service gentlemen!
Barnwarming was held Saturday, October 19th. Paige Chavies and Blake Livengood were crowned Barnwarming Queen and King. Congratulations Paige and Blake!
Monday was Volleyball Senior Night recognition and Pink Night. A door offering was collected for Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Another donation collection will be at the main gate of the football game Friday night.

Elementary students enjoying 1st Quarter Great Escape today! Kindergarten through 3rd grade students attended Big Bear Pumpkin Patch and 4th - 6th grade attended Twister Sports! A great time had by all! A special thank you to Home & School for helping fund this trip!
