Congratulations to our fifth grade D.A.R.E. graduates this year! Special thanks to Officer Mark Gooden, our D.A.R.E. Officer, for taking the time to teach our students the importance of being drug, alcohol, and bully free. Our class essay winners were Riley Schroeder and Makenzie Berryman! Both students read their essays aloud during the ceremony. Special guests in attendance were Chief Gooden and Officer Mayor.




These individuals represented SSR7 well at the Sectional Track Meet this past weekend. Strong work, Hannah, Garret, Joey, Drayton, and Skyler! We are proud of you!
Congratulations to Joey Rapp and Garret Hoyes who will be advancing to the State Meet. If you wish to cheer them on as they head to Jefferson City, they will be leaving the school around 3:45 pm this Thursday and will be escorted from the school to I-70.


Second grade students have been reading different versions of Stone Soup throughout the week. Today, they learned about the power of working together while making their Stone Soup. Each student contributed an ingredient for the soup.

Fifth graders participated in Earth Day at the Capitol on Friday. Students enjoyed various science exploration activities throughout the day. Students also had an opportunity to visit the Capitol for a short tour!






Updated baseball conference bracket. A change was made to the times on the semifinal day. The 3:00 and 7:00 game times were swapped.

Recently, our Elementary Exploratory Club and Mrs. Hudson enjoyed a trip to Science City! Thank you to our parent chaperones also in attendance!

2024 I-70 Conference Tournament Brackets for Softball and Baseball can be found below. Gate prices will be $5 for adults and $3 for students. There will be no passes accepted.

Great Friday night at the ball fields! Lady Hounds win on the road at Orrick and the Mighty Greyhounds beat Stover at home!

Congratulations to SSHS Scholar Bowl team for placing 3rd in the I-70 Conference Scholar Bowl today! Also, congratulations to Kade Hudson for receiving All Conference Honors for averaging the most points in each event! Job well done, Greyhounds!
