This week several groups and sports teams received outstanding scholastic achievement award certificates from MSHSAA.

Last week, High School FACS classes made a main dish, vegetable dish, and a dessert as part of a collaborative nutrition lesson. They had fun learning some new skills.
8th graders are just two weeks into Spanish class and were able to retell a little story to their classmates in Spanish in their own words. They are already learning so much!

It's Courtwarming week! Courtwarming coronation will be Friday, January 16 v. Santa Fe. There will be BBQ beef at the concession stand on Friday. Dress up days are attached.

Junior High Basketball wrapped up their season tonight against the St. Paul's Blue Jays. The girls finished their season undefeated. The boys played a hard fought game. Both teams showed GRIT this season!

Recently, the Annual Performance Report (APR) was released by Missouri's Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE). Your Sweet Springs Greyhounds received an overall score of 89.3%, ranking 1st out of the K-12 public school districts in Saline, Pettis, and Johnson counties - the three counties within the district boundaries. Your Greyhounds also ranked 2nd, by only 0.5%, in the I-70 Conference Schools. Thank you to our staff and students for their hard work and for continuing to strive for excellence.
