
Spanish 1 students learned about the cempasúchil, or marigold flower, for the Day of the Dead, and then followed instructions in Spanish for making paper flowers.

This morning, SSR7's K-12 math teachers participated in professional development to analyze MAP/EOC mathematics data to identify learning gaps to continue improving math proficiency.

At the FFA meeting last night chapter awards were handed out and there was a FFA Creed speaking contest. Congratulations to the Greenhand FFA degree recipients and the Chapter degree recipients.

Thank you Jenkins Market for donating mini pumpkins for our students this year!



8th grade students in Mrs. Steinkuhler’s English class just finished reading The Outsiders. This activity consisted of them sorting evidence to decide whether Johnny Cade was guilty or innocent. Students then argued their case and had the jury(their classmates) decide the case.
Students in Mrs. Steinkuhler’s 9th grade English class did “The Most Dangerous Game” challenge after reading the short story. Students had to work together and communicate to be successful.
