Kindergarten and First Grade summer school students also traveled to our local library to learn all about books! Thank you to our mystery reader, Leigh Hartley, for sharing a story with us! We appreciate Karen Scott and everyone at our local library for a great visit! Students enjoyed a stop at Old School Social for a cold treat on the way back to school!



Kindergarten and First grade summer school students enjoyed a trip to Bernard Lumber to learn all about one of our amazing local businesses! Students were given a tour, some fun facts about the business, and a sweet treat. Thank you Bob, Diane, Ethan, and everyone at Bernard Lumber for your friendly hospitality!


Any Sweet Springs Student Athlete wanting to participate in Band, Cheer, Football or Voellyball for the Fall Season must have a valid physical and have filled out the Annual Requirement form (Insurance/Parent Permission). These can be picked up in the HS office after August 1 or printed off here.

2024-2025 Elementary Supply list has been published and is also available on our school website under the Elementary section. Please note JH & HS will be given a list of supplies needed for their individual classes by their teacher. (Most of the time this will consist of paper, pencils, 3-ring binder, etc.)


Summer School students enjoyed a fishing trip to Blind Pony Fish Hatchery this past Friday. Thank you to all of our students, staff, and Blind Pony Hatchery for a fun and memorable experience!

Congratulations to our fifth grade D.A.R.E. graduates this year! Special thanks to Officer Mark Gooden, our D.A.R.E. Officer, for taking the time to teach our students the importance of being drug, alcohol, and bully free. Our class essay winners were Riley Schroeder and Makenzie Berryman! Both students read their essays aloud during the ceremony. Special guests in attendance were Chief Gooden and Officer Mayor.





These individuals represented SSR7 well at the Sectional Track Meet this past weekend. Strong work, Hannah, Garret, Joey, Drayton, and Skyler! We are proud of you!
Congratulations to Joey Rapp and Garret Hoyes who will be advancing to the State Meet. If you wish to cheer them on as they head to Jefferson City, they will be leaving the school around 3:45 pm this Thursday and will be escorted from the school to I-70.



Second grade students have been reading different versions of Stone Soup throughout the week. Today, they learned about the power of working together while making their Stone Soup. Each student contributed an ingredient for the soup.
