Today, the Sweet Springs Elementary proudly hosted our Veterans Day Assembly to honor those who have served our country. 🇺🇸

We are grateful to all the veterans who joined us today—thank you for your courage, sacrifice and dedication to our nation.



Today we had the honor of having Charlie Guthrie and Bryce Lockwood speak to our JH/HS student body. Students learned about history, veterans and about the Tribute of America's white table. Thank to the band, choir and student readers for adding to our assembly. Thank you to all Veterans for your service!










Come out and support NHS at Mexican night this Friday, November 14, 2025! Dine anytime after 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Today at the high school we celebrated the 1st quarter of school! High honor roll, honor roll and good attendance were all recognized. Students of the quarter, band and football were recognized. Thank you to the cheerleaders and Student Council for leading this celebration!

High School FCCLA members help prepare goody bags for elementary students during Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is an annual alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention campaign to bring awareness to those dangers.




Junior High FACS classes learned the importance of using a recipe, measuring ingredients accurately, and following directions, while keeping in mind the safety measures that go with using kitchen tools and appliances, as well as proper clean up. They made simple chocolate chip, strawberry, and blueberry muffins

Junior Honor Society went to the Kansas City area last week for a field trip. They had an excellent tour of the World War I museum led by Becky! Students saw many incredible artifacts and even got to do a simulation where they made decisions to see if they could complete certain missions.
Students ended the trip with a round of Prehistoric Putt Putt and lunch at Pizza Ranch.







Sweet Springs Staff participated in a costume contest and we need YOUR help picking our winners! Please “Like” the picture of the teacher/staff you would like vote for! Voting ends Monday at 3pm!
