In FACS, 7th grade students looked at how advertisements influence them. They looked at how effective ads are at getting their attention and influencing what they purchase. They also created their own ad and gave feedback to their classmates.

In FACS, students practiced filling out job applications and participating in mock interviews to practice good eye contact, while thinking about what they want to say. They also learned about earning a paycheck, writing checks, endorsing a check, and depositing their money into personal checking and savings accounts.

Our Lady Hounds played two great games at Green Ridge tonight. JV kept the score tight and Varsity took home the win. Congratulations, Ladies and Coaches, on an exciting night of volleyball! See everyone this Wednesday night at home for back-to-back varsity games vs. Lexington and Smithton.

Who doesn’t love (Spanish!) story time!? Each Spanish class started the school year by inventing its own quirky character and wrote a story together. Then, students brought their tales to life by illustrating them into huge comic-style storyboards hanging in the hallway. Today, they got to ‘go on tour’ and read the other classes’ stories.
