Events for this week!

School will not be in session Thursday (1/9/25) or Friday (1/10/25). Several roads and the school parking lot are still ice covered. Despite being plowed and salted multiple times, the temperatures are making it challenging to thaw them out. In addition, more snow is forecasted for Thursday night into Friday morning. Thank you to the road crews and school maintenance staff for all of your efforts and hard work so far this week. Hope to see you next week, Greyhounds!

Due to road conditions, there will be no school on Wednesday, 1/8/25.
Vo-Tech students attending SCCC, your vo-tech classes will be virtual (AMI) for Wednesday, as well as for Thursday.

Due to road conditions, Sweet Springs R-7 will not be in session tomorrow, 1/7/25. Stay safe and warm, Greyhounds!

Congratulations to our G.R.I.T. Students of the week! WAY TO GO!!!! #greyhoundgrit

District wide we have enjoyed dressing up for the 12 days of Christmas. Today was movie character day! A few elementary teachers did a great job with the movie Home Alone!

Junior Honor Society visited the Steamboat Arabia Museum today. Students met David Hawley, one of the original treasure hunters. Students got to smell a fragrance that was recreated from perfume found on board and learned lots of cool things about our Missouri River!
Students also enjoyed escaping from an escape room!

Great Winter concert performance by our JH Choir, HS Choir, JH Band & HS Band. Thank you to the students, Ms. Fortner and Ms. Clifton for your time and dedication to our music department. Happy Holidays!
